just arrived from your http://www.pennyinparadise.com/2008/11/10/casa-ripple-in-boquete site. As I stated there, am interested in moving to either Boquete or Volcan when I retire in 3-5 years. Am planning to visit in 2012. I have read that there is a great flower festival in mid-Jan in Boquete and figure that the weather must be really nice during that time. Want to spend 2-3 weeks in area to see if I can find 4-5 acres close to areas with trails so can ride year round. Since you seem to be a horseperson also, would appreciate any input you might provide as I plan my visit. I’m 61 years young, female, and raised Tennessee Walkers for over 20 years involved in regular and competive trail riding. Also helped friend show her Paso Finos. WOW – you worked miracles. Can relate as husband and I have renovated every place we purchase and move into. Am 61 and seriously considering a move to Panama to retire. A co-worker is from Panama and intends to move back there in 3 years. I found your website thru a search for Paso Fino horses in Panama. Raised Tennessee Walkers for 20 years and helped a friend show her Paso Finos for few years. Am planning a 2-3 week visit to check out Volcan and Boquete sometime in 2012. Going to look for 4-5 acres that are close to riding trails as I want to ride year round – and seems like climate over your way is good for that. If you have a few minutes to share with me any basics that might be helpful in planning my trip and retirement, would love to talk with you.
