Am planning to visit in 2012. I have read that there is a great flower festival in mid-Jan in Boquete and figure that the weather must be really nice during that time. Want to spend 2-3 weeks in area to see if I can find 4-5 acres close to areas with trails so can ride year round. Since you seem to be a horseperson also, would appreciate any input you might provide as I plan my visit. I’m 61 years young, female, and raised Tennessee Walkers for over 20 years involved in regular and competive trail riding. Also helped friend show her Paso Finos.
